Mental Health and Wellbeing
Our mental health and wellbeing groups offer a warm welcome to those struggling with mental ill health. As we meet, share and encourage one another, we can move towards mental wellbeing.
A group who get together with their knitting, crochet and sewing, learn off one another and share life together. Lots of laughs and lots of chatting.....!
The Acorn group is a time to relax in the company of others, with various activities focused on promoting mental wellbeing and developing good friendships. We also enjoy eating lunch together!
Friday, 10am - 12noon
Artistic Minds - art as therapy. The group is run by an experienced art teacher, and all are welcome - even if you can’t draw!
2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 7:30pm - 8:30pm
Evolve is a teenage peer support group, offering young people a safe place to talk about mental ill health, and to find support through friendship with one another.
One to One
Weekdays, 9am - 2pm
Our Family Support Worker is available throughout the week, offering a listening ear and practical support for anyone going through difficult life situations. Pop into the church, or call 01689 800 291.
