Welcome to our online service. This service includes some of the elements from our in person service for those who are not able to make it at 11am. We'd encourage you to begin to come back to our in person services if you can. The opportunity to meet together is good for us and helps us on our Christian journey together.
Today we are continuing in our series on Trust. How do we trust in God to keep us on the right road when everything seems unclear? Claire reflects on Matthew 4:1-11
Sunday Zone is back - our group for children and young people. We do not have a creche at present, but we do have space to play and toys you can bring into the service for your child if you would like.
Unfortunately our Youth Cafe is cancelled today.
Although rules have now relaxed, we would ask you if you are coming in person, that you please take care of one another by ensuring you keep others health to the forefront of your minds. We ask you not to attend in person if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 or have tested positive.
At our recent church meeting we explored together what our members covenant might look like going forward. This has now been formed into a new covenant to be discussed at our next members meeting - you can find this on the members section of our website - please get in touch for the password.

Worship
Call to Worship (Based on Psalm 34)
Let us bless God every change we get.
Let our lungs expand with his praise.
Let us choose to live and breathe God
Even if things aren't going well, let us hear that God is good
Let us join together in spreading the news
Let us get the word out
When we look for God, he will answer us
He frees us from all our fears
Look at him. Give him your warmest smile
Never hide you feelings from him.
When you are desperate you can call out to him
And experience says He'll get you out of trouble
He sets up a circle of protection
And keeps us safe whilst we pray
Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see
Our God is good, all the time, all the time, he is good.
Let us bless him with our praise.
Songs for Today
Here are the songs for today. You might want to play the last two for before and after the sermon
Prayers
Here is a video from the European Baptist Federation about the work that Baptists are doing as they care for refugees from Ukraine in Poland and Moldova and other bordering countries
The video mentions at the end giving via your local Baptist appeal - in the UK it is BMS World Mission. Details on how to do that are here
Word
Claire reflects on Matthew 4:1-11 - you might want to read it first - it's available here
If you want to listen to the song Claire mentions at the end, it can be found here
